Ken and Debbie Sholter from Estevan, SK, visited Ottawa in the fall. During their stay, they took some time to tour the sights of Parliament Hill.


Lisa Kuntz from Estevan, Melody Mitchell from Moose Jaw, and Ruth Barker from Weyburn were in Ottawa in November taking part in an Understanding the Early Years training initiative.


Ed Komarnicki, M.P., with David Hawkins. David teaches in Milestone, SK, and was in Ottawa to attend the 2007 Teacher’s Institute on Canadian Parliamentary Democracy held October 28th– November 2nd.

Ed Komarnicki, M.P., with Cecil Keast of Coronach, SK. Mr. Keast is a Second World War Veteran who after the war served several years as the Coronach area Supervisory Postmaster until 1978. Since that time, he has operated a Pubic Accounting Office in Coronach.


Ed Komarnicki, M.P., with Gene and Cathie Davis from North Portal, SK. Gene is the Manager of the North Portal Duty Free Shop. Gene and Cathie paid a visit to Ottawa to participate in the Frontier Duty Free Association’s semi-annual meeting of operators.

Shauna Bourassa of Weyburn visited Ottawa to participate in Canada’s 2007 National Parks and Recreation Conference and Trade Show. During her time in the nation’s capital, she had an opportunity to tour Parliament Hill.

I wish to acknowledge Josh LeBlanc and Janelle Davidson for their efforts this summer in keeping the Estevan Service Canada Centre for Youth open for business. The centre provided valuable services to assist our young people and businesses alike with their summer employment needs.
