This announcement highlights commitments made under the Beyond the Border Action Plan, the Economic Action Plan 2013, and the new Building Canada Plan. "The reference in the budget and the announcement made today on behalf of the Minister of Transport is not only good news for Souris-Moose Mountain but the province of Saskatchewan and indeed all of Canada. Although construction may not commence until 2014-2015 the upfront preparatory work can start now.
